Support and setup
GPSwitch uses Android's mock-location capability and therefore requires a specific initial setup.
Initial setup
- Enable Android Developer options.
- Find Select mock location app.
- Select GPSwitch.
- Fully close GPSwitch and open it again.
- Grant location and notification permissions when Android asks.
If simulation does not start
- Check that GPSwitch is still selected as the mock-location app.
- Fully close and reopen the app.
- Review permissions and battery settings.
Account, cloud backup and local data
The account is optional. Cloud backup requires a voluntary action and is not automatically enabled by signing in.
