1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of GPSwitch, an Android application for configuring simulated locations and routes on compatible devices.
2. Lawful and authorised use
GPSwitch must be used only for lawful and authorised purposes, such as testing, demonstrations, development and scenario validation.
3. Advanced Android configuration
GPSwitch may require Developer Options and selection as the mock-location app. These controls are provided by Android and can be reversed.
4. Account and remote features
Local use does not require an account. Some optional features may require authentication and corresponding services.
5. Compatibility
Operation may vary by Android version, manufacturer, permissions, power-saving policies and restrictions imposed by other applications.
6. Prohibited uses
GPSwitch must not be used to break the law, commit fraud, harm third parties, gain unauthorised access, circumvent security controls or deliberately breach contractual obligations.
7. Third-party services, maps and cartography
GPSwitch may depend on mapping, place search, routing, authentication, cloud infrastructure and Google Play. Basemaps are served through CARTO and use OpenStreetMap data.
8. Local data and exports
Users are responsible for local data, exported files and backups they choose to create.
9. Product evolution
Features, limits and compatibility may change with new versions.
